Description
Tansanite Gold Pendant is a new piece, to wear in every occasion. It is small, light but very strong with its brilliance and shape. Simple pendant with no ornaments, just one cabochon cut natural Tansanite in gold setting. This precious gem contrasts with the polished surface of the gold. It reminds of a precious piece thrown into water and making circles in water. These soft irregularities make the surface alive depending on the angle you are looking at it. By movements of the water pulled back and forth – a solid bottom does not exist. This jewellery shows how I see the real, or even the unreal. Tansanite is a precious gemstone, highly coveted for its blue colour. The most beautiful Tansanites have a vivid, bright violet-blue colour.
For me, to create jewellery, is to make the inner world visible. Colours and forms of biological organisms transformed in the mind and through the hands. Amidst the chaos, there is harmony. Millions of fascinating species depend on each other. Some of them fall into oblivion. I want to protect and cherish the natural world. Nature itself defies expectations and comprehensibility.
