Description
Stranger garnet ring stand out for its beautiful form in contrast with simple silver band. It is colorful, special and modern. From bluish, red, yellow and white lacquer to the deep colour of the garnet. Stranger garnet ring is easy to wear and to combine. Garnet is pear cut and has facets. Wooden part is cut in cone form is lacquered and contains micro-granules. In the inside of the wooden cone is a white opal cut in drop form, where you can see only the tip of it.
Garnet was known from Bronze Age as a gemstone and abrasive. It was always highly prized. The word Garnet comes from 14-th century Middle English word Gernet and means “dark red”. It is a species, found in every colour, but reddish shades are most common. The hardness of garnet varieties ranges between 6 to 7,5, where the hardest, almandine, is used in abrasive purposes. It was most commonly used in Late Antique Roman World as a precious stone inlaid inn gold cells in the cloisonné technique.
