I’ve created Amber brooch as a celebration of amber as material. To explore the possibilities of carving, polishing and using amber. I´m interested in interaction between living and non-living elements and systems. The transformation is about the symbiosis of these two systems. These nature creations also transform our human being, our inner life and our soul. I was inspired by natural amber and biological forms. I have transformed forms of animals into jewelry. Amber is abundance for me. Its rich golden color, the smoothness and the feeling that it gives, makes the jewelry special. Translucent bodies and pieces of this preciousness tempt our senses. Natural metamorphosis enchants me, like transformation of tree resin into a healing stone. A precious gold-colored tear of God seeping from the inside of a nature organism encloses everything what’s on its way. Insects and worms haven’t found a way out. Everything is possible, nothing is true!
The deeper the unknown, the more intoxicating the world is. The inspiration’s floating in weightless state, it never stands still. By movements of the water pulled back and forth – a solid bottom does not exist.
An unsatisfied thirst for knowledge, which drives to work, creates unique pieces that tell a story. The devotion to nature and jewelry rewarded with an open field of imagination, inspiration that’s wearable, and moreover an absolute revelation of one’s own feeling.
