Since 2005 I'm taking part in international awards and exhibitions. 2012 I’ve won the first prize “Azur” Jewellery Art Contest International Baltic Jewellery Show ‘AMBER TRIP’, Vilnius Lithuania, 2013 First prize in Gioielli in Fermento Torre Fornello Award, Italy and 2016 First Prize in Arts and Craft International Design Award.

Aurum brooch


“Aurum” brooch from the Orbis Regius collection, 2012.

Made of driftwood, brass, red glass, alginate, golden pigments and gold coloured foil.

The wood is stabilized and the surface is lacquered.

It is about 11 x 5 x 2,5 centimeters. It weights 31,6 gram.

This brooch was inspired by a fictional story of the universe. Aurum brooch is an unique fantasy jewellery piece  reflecting the shining of a star.

At the beginning all is empty and dark. It looks like a never-ending sphere. The darkness is strong and heavy. Only a small grain from the destroyed world remains. It is floating and collecting positive energy from the space. In the right moment, at the proper place, it explodes at the speed of light. From one moment to another, the universe is full. Blending, full of light, waiting for you. Make a wish. Create the new world of light, gravid in possibilities. As the darkness declines, see the sparkles of new born stars fascinating your mind. Follow the flow through the space into the farthest corners of the universe. Hollow seas are on your way where you can drift in the deep of your own consciousness. All there is you and the Crystal Odyssey you are writing right now.

Out there are hundreds of species of unknown nature, strange like “aliens”. This is my vision about these natures. How I see these species, how they look like in my imagination. In the context are the material and the story, my searching in the past, for unknown and forgotten forms. I choose materials which I can “feel”. That means nature materials with some kind of spirit, materials with a touch, colour or light. I build a kind of bridges between the materials, fit them into each other, and make something special…
