I'm a professional jewellery artist born in Slovakia and living in Austria. Since 2005 I'm taking part in international awards and exhibitions. 2012 I’ve won the first prize “Azur” Jewellery Art Contest International Baltic Jewellery Show ‘AMBER TRIP’, Vilnius Lithuania, 2013 First prize in Gioielli in Fermento Torre Fornello Award, Italy and 2016 First Prize in Arts and Craft International Design Award.

Cerberilla Brooch


“Cerberilla Brooch” was made for the Gioielli in Fermento Award in 2017 and is a part of the collection Microvita.

It is made of wood, operculum (fishbones), brass, silver 925, amethyst, rose quartz, micro-granules.

The size is 8 x 6,5 x 4 centimeters,

The weight is 35,7 gram.


Cerberilla Brooch was made and exhibited in Gioielli in Fermento Award in 2017. In 2018 as a part of the Master collection of Gioielli in Fermento, exhibited also at JOYA Barcelona.

Cerberilla Brooch is also a part of the Microvita collection.

What are the smallest particles of this world we are living in? How big are they? Why is everything so colourful? If they are all the same, they are changing only the colour in the light of our eyes.

Like a figment of my imagination. Reality as lifestyle is too confining, it is a collective feeling. Doors to the other worlds – Doors to other perception – Doors of fantasy and jewellery. An infinite metamorphosis of a butterfly and life. Unrestless energy changes its form, in one moment body to spirit, in another thought to word. Word turns to act, act turns to character. Materials’ metamorphose change the colour and composition. It takes a new shape and charisma. It represents a thought of an immortal energy. Micro-life creating structure. Organized creativity particles.

The perfection of nature’s forms and the beauty of the material challenge me to create jewellery pieces of resemblant quality. Sometimes, my workbench looks like a natural history collection: Driftwood of a wayward-knotted shape, pieces of coral, lichen, dried scale of a carp, petrified sea shell, amber or a sea urchin skeleton gather there. Divergent material properties meet another in unusual combinations: soft and amorphous runs into hard and edged, translucent stones into matt light absorbing bodies. The gracile and grotesque-looking deep-sea organisms could be also figments.  Animalic, botanic and mineral seems to flow fluently into each other, nature and phantasy becomes one. My jewellery objects are materialized imaginations. It’s not how the things really are. How they could be – that is the point of aesthetical capability. They are not real shells, skeletons or corals. They are three-dimensional pictures of them. I create forms which report about themselves, are autonomous against the conventions of imitation. And they appear strange for the first blink, till we realize a reflection of our own psyche in it. The creations origin in deeper layers of human consciousness. Feelings, wishes, fears and instincts drift on the bottom of the soul. I love to dive. Into the depth of the oceans, into the colours of nature, into subconscious.
