Description
I designed and created this Chrysanthellum necklace in 2021. Inspiration for this piece came from underwater animals and organisms. How far is it from the depths of the unknown oceans until you reach the depth of imagination, an unknown place where everything is possible? And in countless combinations? We move slowly, swim at the bottom of our thoughts and discover again and again what we have not even dreamed of. . . You ask yourself where this fantastic variety of impossible forms and mystical colors comes from? What inspires nature in her creations?
Chrysanthellum necklace is made of silver, driftwood, garnet, sapphires, emeralds and rubies. A unique creation – pendant with precious gems collier in rainbow colors. Dark violet lacquered driftwood with micro granules on it is set in silver 925 piece. Also the dark red garnet cabochon is set in the big silver part. It is made for the Terra Incognita collection. Twisted and organic shapes are inspired by marine life forms like medusae and anemones. The opulence of color combinations, paired with materials like titanium and wood result in fantasy creations which approach real sea animals in different ways. Contrast and contradiction becomes sharper by using divergent materials side by side. For me it is important to feel the material, its smooth or rough surface, its natural softness or its temperature.
Chrysanthellum is a genus of flowering plants in the aster family.
Chrysanthellum necklace is a special piece for everyday but also for special occasions.
