Description
Silver Shell pin is a small brooch made in 2016 as a part of small brooches series for every day. It is made of silver 925 and a 3 shells. The shell has a natural form. The inspiration comes from natural growth. Prediction on the base of initial conditions. A very small change in one state can result in large differences in a later state. In a metaphorical example, a tornado can be influenced by something as minor as the flapping of the wings of a distant butterfly several weeks earlier. Driven by my desire, I allow my intuition to lead and guide my hands when I’m working. Every little stone that I set, every little splash of colour that I make, influences the mood, the feelings and the thoughts of person looking at it. The most important thing is to find a way of synergy between handcraft and concept. Either it is one thought for a piece or a concept for a whole collection. An unsatisfied thirst for knowledge, which drives to work, creates unique pieces that tell a story. The devotion to nature and jewelry rewarded with an open field of imagination, inspiration that’s wearable, and moreover an absolute revelation of one’s own feeling. It is not the goal for me to make the items for the craft, even not for vanity, but for the experience itself. I search inspiration in common things, objects, peoples and situations. The strength of the feelings makes my work deeper and richer. I use gems for the expression of soul. Some works are considered as objects that are suitable for wear. Silver Shell pin is a one of a kind hand-made piece, as all of my works.
